COMPACT BOTTOM CHORD PRESS
This system has been developed to dramatically improve the productivity of conventional truss jigs
without the need for additional labour. Current market figures suggest a 15 to 25% productivity
improvement can be achieved with this item of equipment.
Unlike other bottom chord press systems, this unit does not require a rear floor rail, reducing the
safety issues associated with trip hazards. The front guide rail either attaches to the rear of the jig
or is floor mounted, no higher than the jig base beam.
It’s unique, compact design ensures that the press can be positioned closer to fixed or moving
obstructions without undue waste of valuable floor space.
This system’s simple pendant controls ensures that untrained or inexperienced operators will
require minimal or no training for its safe use. The adjustable press limit switches improve cycle
times and plating quality.
